With one of Land Rovers most popular models being introduced in 1995, the P38 Range Rover would soon become one of the vehicle that Deacon Automotive would customise to look like one of its own

Starting off with a standard 1996 ‘TA’ Rangie we began some of the cosmetic changes. With most of the parts being Land Rover bolt on accessories it wasn’t hard to make the transformation from the standard vehicle to what it has transformed in to.

All of these accessories are available for all P38 models, some of the later model vehicles do come standard with some of the features, but depending on how you like your vehicle to look, you can customise as many or as little as you would like.

18” alloy wheels were used from a 2003 bug eye Disco, vented and slotted performance disc rotors were fitted from Quentin Hazel. The lamp update kit was also fitted which would be the most dramatic face lift which would enable the ‘TA’ transform into a ‘2A’. Chrome strips were added in the body moulds, chrome tailgate button, front and rear Black and silver Land Rover badges, dual chrome tipped exhausts would finish of the rear of the car giving it a unique look. Head light grilles were fitted up front, and a set of Rola ski racks (the car still needed to be practical)up top, 100% UV reflective tint and the out side was done.

Moving to the interior, most of the add ons were hijacked from the later model XA rangie, leather stitched hand brake cover and Auto selector cover, chrome buttons for both the handbrake and auto selector. Full wood grain kit, wood grain steering wheel, leather door trims and chrome handles and a late model set of leather seats were to finish up the interior
Audio saw an Alpine pulse screen Tv tuner, DVD, CD and radio tuner installed with Focal utopia 3 way split speakers in the front and 6 “ coaxes in the rear doors.
